We are seeking passionate and results-driven Sales Team Leaders to coordinate, coach, and drive the performance of our sales teams. The ideal candidates will be responsible for route planning, team development, communication, and achieving sales targets in their designated zones. This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence, improving shop coverage, and maximizing product distribution and revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities

• Route Planning:
• Develop and assign sales routes
• Monitor and evaluate route performance
• Identify and implement opportunities for market expansion (geographic and product-based)
• Team Performance Management:
• Take ownership of route-specific revenue targets
• Track and report team sales metrics
• Ensure the team consistently meets or exceeds sales goals
• Portfolio Growth:
• Support the team in developing client portfolios
• Maximize upselling and cross-selling opportunities
• Encourage acquisition of new customers and retention of existing ones
• Communication:
• Act as the key liaison between the business development manager and the sales team
• Relay sales targets, updates, and strategic priorities to the team
• Coaching and Development:
• Train and mentor team members on sales techniques
• Guide team members in handling customers and closing deals
• Drive continuous improvement in sales performance

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Shop Coverage: Based on the number of unique shops visited monthly
• Revenue Targets: Monthly revenue generated in the assigned zone
• Product Mix: Sales achievements per product line based on team targets

Requirements

• Minimum education: KCSE Certificate (Form Four)
• Fluency in English and Swahili
• Proven sales experience; experience in a team leader or supervisory role is an added advantage
• Willingness to undergo a 3-month probationary period
