Kaimosi Friends University invites all qualified candidates to apply for the position of Assistant Lecturer – Grade 11. This role is ideal for early-career academics who have demonstrated competence in teaching and research and are progressing toward completing their Ph.D. The successful candidate will contribute to the academic mission of the university through teaching, research, and academic service.

Key Requirements

• A Master’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized university.
• Demonstrated competence in teaching and research, including participation in academic activities such as seminars and conferences.
• At least one (1) peer-reviewed journal publication since appointment as a Tutorial Fellow.
• Evidence of active enrollment in a Ph.D. program with satisfactory academic progress, as per university regulations.
• Registered with a relevant professional body, where applicable.
• Served as a Tutorial Fellow for at least two (2) years, up to a maximum of five (5) years or two contract terms.
