The Nairobi Hospital
The Nairobi Hospital, a premier healthcare
institution in Eastern Africa, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business
Development Officer to support its strategic growth initiatives. Reporting
to the relevant departmental head, the officer will be responsible for
identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and
contributing to the hospital’s market positioning and financial sustainability
as outlined in its Strategic Plan (2025–2029).
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Identify
and engage new corporate clients to drive business acquisition and achieve
growth targets.
- Promote
awareness of new and existing services to targeted markets and potential
clients.
- Organize
and lead hospital tours for new or prospective clients to showcase service
offerings and facilities.
- Schedule
and attend client meetings to strengthen existing partnerships and explore
new opportunities.
- Build
and maintain strong relationships with consultants, admitting doctors, and
referring physicians.
- Organize
client engagement initiatives such as health talks and medical camps to
enhance satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate
with internal departments (Legal, Finance, Clinical) to draft and
implement medical services agreements.
- Manage
routine communications with corporate clients and ensure timely dispatch
of relevant correspondence.
- Facilitate
credit facilities for corporate clients including onboarding, renewals,
terminations, and database updates.
- Conduct
internal staff awareness sessions on client contractual obligations and
service expectations.
- Undertake
any other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications &
Experience:
- Bachelor’s
degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field from a
recognized institution
- Professional
qualification in Marketing/Sales is an added advantage
- At
least 5 years of experience in marketing or business development,
preferably in the service industry
