Dimkes DT Sacco
The
Business Relationship Officer is responsible for driving business growth
through sales and customer relationship management. The role involves
identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, promoting Sacco products
and services, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and supporting
marketing initiatives. The officer will serve as a critical link between the
Sacco and its members, helping to grow the deposit base and loan portfolio
while enhancing member engagement and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Marketing %
Weighting: 50%
- Conduct customer interviews and interactions
both at the Sacco premises and client locations to understand their needs
and offer the right products.
- Prepare customer call reports for all visits
made to existing and prospective accounts.
- Submit customer account opening forms to the
Customer Service Officer for processing.
- Track daily sales activity and report to the
Branch Manager.
- Open target accounts, ensuring they are
active and meet the minimum share capital requirements per Sacco by-laws.
- Mobilize BOSA and FOSA deposits in line with
set targets.
- Generate and qualify leads and source client
referrals.
- Assist the Branch Manager in preparing sales
strategies, proposals, and action plans.
- Actively participate in Sacco marketing
activities as directed by the line manager.
Business development & Relationship
Management % Weighting: 50%
- Grow the Sacco Assurance Business by
actively marketing and selling products and services to new and existing
members.
- Conduct regular visits to clients and
prospective clients to track their evolving needs and support their growth
with relevant products or services.
- Participate in member cash collection when
called upon.
- Cross-sell and upsell to increase business
volume from clients and continually grow the portfolio.
- Stay updated on changes in the Sacco
environment, competition, and customer business landscape.
- Maintain excellent customer experience and
cultivate strong client relationships and loyalty.
- Prepare and present sales activities and
plans, and compile weekly sales reports.
- Respond to member inquiries and concerns and
maintain accurate records.
- Monitor and report on sales activities and
ensure timely follow-up for management.
- Perform any other duties as delegated.
Ideal Job Holder Specifications
Academic Qualifications
- Diploma in
a business-related field.
- A degree will be an added advantage.
Desired Work Experience
- At least one (1) year of working experience.
