Lukenya Girl's High School is seeking a competent and enthusiastic History and Kiswahili Teacher to join our Junior Secondary School (JSS) teaching team. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver dynamic lessons, cultivate a love for history and language, and contribute to the academic and personal development of students.

• Teach History and Kiswahili in accordance with the approved curriculum
• Use innovative and digital teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes
• Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and instructional materials
• Assess, evaluate, and report on student performance regularly
• Promote critical thinking, research skills, and appreciation of cultural heritage
• Maintain effective classroom management and student discipline
• Engage in school-wide activities, meetings, and professional development
• Provide mentorship and support to students to enhance learning outcomes

• Degree or Diploma in Education with specialization in History and Kiswahili
• Valid TSC Registration (Mandatory)
• Minimum of two (2) years’ teaching experience, ideally at the Junior Secondary School (JSS) level
• Competency in digital learning tools and online teaching methods
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Proven record of fostering academic excellence and positive learning environments
