Job Description :

The Accounts Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting, accounting, and auditing processes within the company. This role includes managing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and providing key insights to support decision-making. Candidate will also be responsible for leading and mentoring the accounting team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.


Key Responsibility

  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and company policies.
  • Coordinate and oversee the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Analyze financial data and create reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and polices
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, including tax laws and internal reporting requirements
  • Maintain an accurate and organized filing system for financial records and documentation.
  • Identify areas for process improvement within the accounting function and implement effective solutions.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and enhance the accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve overall efficiency.

Key Qualification, Experience, Skills, and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3 years’ work experience in financial accounting, reporting, or related roles within a manufacturing environment
  • Qualified accountant (CPA K, ACCA level III, or equivalent)
  • Computer literate with a working knowledge of SAP, spreadsheets and other MS office applications
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Business acumen and ability to maintain confidential information
  • Ability to prioritize, coordinate, and manage multiple activities
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing/FMCG processes
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with keen attention to details
  • Problem solving mindset and a proactive approach to addressing challenge
