Job Summary
Liberty Life is seeking an Underwriting Analyst to support the Retail Health team in assessing risk, processing quotations and renewals, managing policies, and maintaining client satisfaction. This role requires attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess eligibility for medical cover and underwrite health risks.
- Prepare accurate quotations and policy documents within set timelines.
- Issue medical cards, debits, credits, and maintain policy records.
- Analyze scheme performance and contribute to renewal decisions.
- Manage membership data for both new and existing clients.
- Maintain client and broker relationships through responsive service.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Generate regular and ad hoc reports as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Insurance or related discipline.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in underwriting or insurance operations.
Key Competencies
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Good communication and relationship management
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Adaptable, fast learner, and team-oriented
